Many sealed central-heating systems display pressure on a gauge. A reading outside the range stated in the boiler manual may indicate a fault, leak or need for professional attention. Check the pressure when the system is cool and never remove the boiler casing. If the pressure repeatedly drops or rises, contact a Gas Safe registered engineer.
